William L Laddusaw

William L. Laddusaw, 82 of Kingsley, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at a Sioux City hospital.Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at Rohde Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Kraft officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 with Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating also at Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa. Online condolences may be made at www.rohdefh.com.William was born February 25, 1933, the son of Lawrence J. and Leona M. (Ruba) Laddusaw in Le Mars, Iowa. He graduated from Heelan High School, Sioux City, Iowa in 1950. Bill served in the Army during the Korean Conflict with the 5th Armored Division from December 1953 to December 1955. He received the National Defense Service medal. On July 1, 1959, Bill and Marjorie M. Mathers were united in marriage in Kingsley, Iowa.Bill worked as a farmhand west of Kingsley, Mc Mahon & Son Drug Store, and at M & L Clothing Store, which he later owned and operated until 1994. Next he worked at Kuchel Lumber until he retired in 2001. Although retired, he still enjoyed bartending at the Community Center for Kingsley Volunteers. Bill was a member of the United Methodist Church of Kingsley, American Legion, Nash Post # 140, and had served on the Kingsley Library Board for several years.Bill is survived by his wife, Marjorie, children, Brent (Polly) Laddusaw of Pierson, IA, Marci (Chad) Iseminger of Kingsley, IA, Blake (Dawn) Laddusaw of Kingsley, IA, and Blair (Sarah) Laddusaw of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Zack Sargent of Washta, Vina Sargent of Milwaukee, WI, Joey Laddusaw of Pierson, Jonathon, Justin, Jordan and Jacqueline Laddusaw of Kingsley, Riley and Delaney Iseminger of Kingsley, Ella, Luke and Rose Laddusaw of Omaha, great granddaughter, DiVinia Hope , sisters, Pat Wetrosky of Le Mars, IA and Shirley Custer of Sioux City, IA, brothers, Don (Mick) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jim (Betty) Laddusaw of Spencer, IA, many cousins, nieces and nephews.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bob Laddusaw.
