Kingsley, Iowa: Vincent "Vince" V. March, 88, of Kingsley passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Happy Siesta Care Center in Remsen, Iowa.Vincent Vernon was born to Roy and Lillie (Schearer) March in Sioux City, Iowa on March 12, 1925. He attended school in Kingsley, graduating from Kingsley High School in 1943. Following graduation Vince join the Navy as a Seaman, Second Class during World War II and was honorably discharged in December, 1945. While still in the Navy, Vince and Marjorie "Maxine" Bowers were united in marriage on January 8, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa.Throughout his adult years, Vince worked for Page Silo, Sheean Produce, McMahon Drug Store and Clark's Drug Store. Vince was a lifelong resident of Kingsley with exception of his time in the Navy. He belonged to St. Michael Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion, Nash Post #140 in Kingsley. Vince was an avid fisherman.Those left to cherish Vince's memory is his wife of 68 years, Marjorie "Maxine", daughters, Dixie Walker of Kingsley, Dianna (Robert) Anderson of Orange, CA, Cathy Echevarri of Denver, CO, Jody (Lane) Danielzuk of Gering, NE; sons, Brad (Barb) March and Lance March of Kingsley; Daughter-in-law, Pat Flynn of Kingsley, brother, Jim March of Oregon; grandchildren, Tara Flewelling, Mikelle Flewelling, Travis (Amy) Flewelling, Deidra (Mark) Bowman, Daina (Josh) Dimagio, Ryan Pawlowski, Jason (Melinda) Stough, Jonna (Shawn) Downs, Jenna (Joshus) Siemer, Erin (Jake) Muecke, Toby (Tammy) Wright, Bobbie Wright, Andy (Brandi) Wright, Jackie March, Grace March, Samantha March, JoAnn Roling, John Roling, Traun March, Traci March, Trevor (Niki) March, Trisha Lewis; 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.Those who preceded Vince in death are his parents, Roy and Lillie, son, Bob March, brother, Wyman March and his aunts and uncles.
