Russell "Russ" Duane Graham was born September 26, 1934 in rural Kingsley, Iowa, the son of Harold "Hap" and Gladys (Kurtz) Graham. He attended the country school across the road from their home and graduated from Kingsley High School in 1952. From there he ventured to McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas, where he spent the next two years. He started work in 1955 with S.S. Kresge Company in Sioux City, Iowa.Russ and Marian (Vollenweider) were united in marriage June 26, 1955 in Moville, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Allan and Joan. In 1969, Russ and Marian started Graham's Variety Store in Holstein, Iowa and later expanded to Kingsley, with Graham's Screenprinting and Embroidery, which he still owned and operated at the time of his death.Family and friends meant the world to Russ and he will be remembered for his sense of humor, his involvement in the lives of his grandchildren, unwavering faith, devotion to his wife and always being available for friends.He is survived by his wife, Marian of Kingsley; daughter, Joan (Kelly) Koskovich of Kingsley; four grandsons, Luke (Alison) Graham of Chariton, IA, Nathan (Ashley) Koskovich of Sioux Falls, SD, Chase (Nicole) Koskovich of Vermillion, SD, and Ian Koskovich of Kingsley; three great granddaughters, Jesse and Daisy Graham and Bree Koskovich; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Zimmerman and Arlene (Robert) Britton; and daughter-in-law, Jill Duffy.He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Allan; father and mother-in-law, Holly and Mary Vollenweider; sister-in-law, Mavis Butler and brother-in-law, Ronnie Zimmerman.
