Charles D Maring

Charles "Charlie" D. Maring, 77, of Kingsley, passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Kingsley Speciality Care in Kingsley, Iowa. There will be a private family funeral service at Rohde Funeral Home. Charles DuWain Maring was born September 5, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Archie J. & Edith Maring. He grew up in the Saginaw area graduating from high school in 1958. After high school he began working with Interstate Piping Company for 20 years, before becoming a supervisor for the water department in Florida until his retirement. He married Sandra Pierce May 22, 1982 in Florida. After their retirement they moved to Kingsley, Iowa. Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra of Kingsley, one son, Scot Maring, Michigan, daughter, Lisa (Ed) Harris, Florida, son, Phillip Maring, Florida, son, Curt (Jennifer) Maring, Florida, son, Sean (Courtney) Maring, North Carolina, son, Wayne (Sabra) Magnuson, Florida, daughter, Lori (Dale) Libertore, Florida, Shannon (Christopher) Tuccitto, Florida, and daughter, Elizabeth (Richard) Kitchen, Michigan, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, along with the Pierce family who Charlie always thought of as his brothers and sisters.
