Beulah was born November 17, 1927, rural Kingsley, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Emma L. (Woods) Bainbridge. She grew up in the Kingsley area graduating from Kingsley High School in 1945. She and Jerry Spink were married August 28, 1947 in Elk Point, South Dakota. After their marriage they lived on a farm in the Kingsley area where they raised their family. Her husband, Jerry, passed away January 8, 1990. After that Beulah moved to Kingsley, Iowa where she has resided. Beulah was a member of the UMW, Kingsley United Methodist Church where she held several church offices and spent many hours as a volunteer for church activities. She was a volunteer at the Kingsley Nursing &Rehab Center and congregate meals. She was a faithful attendee at the Pratt-Bainbridge Picnic every summer. She enjoyed knitting, reading, doing puzzles, and socializing.Beulah is survived by Cecil and Lynn Spink, Jennifer and Ryan Hutchinson and Lucas, Jonathan Spink, Lynette Kraft, Kirby Courtright and fianc, Karen, Tabitha, Jace, Cade and Bethany, Cory and Marcy Courtright, Carissa and Josh Hindman, Seth and Michaela, Kyle Courtright, Kyle David, and Alex, Christa Courtright, Kevin and Kimberly Smith, Chase and Dustyn, Gaylen and Sharon Spink, Lindi and Austin Bolender, Jalen and Lily, Lance Spink, Charles and Kristi Spink, Jerret, Brodie and Zoe Spink. Also, surviving Beulah are two sisters-in-law, Betty Spink of Kingsley, Iowa and Mildred Bainbridge of Cherokee, Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry, two brothers, Vernon and Doris, and a sister, Lainys, who died during infancy.Beulah's family was very important to her; she was always there to help out, whether by running errands, making cookies or Special K bars and most importantly, to listen without casting judgment.
